Traditional metal braces remain one of the most reliable, predictable, and effective orthodontic treatments available. Our braces use modern brackets and wires that are smaller, smoother, and more comfortable than older designs. Braces work well for nearly every type of bite correction, from mild crowding to complex skeletal issues. Treatment timelines vary by case, and we will walk you through realistic expectations during your consultation.
Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-fitted aligners to gradually move your teeth into position. The aligners are virtually invisible, removable for eating and brushing, and made from smooth medical-grade plastic. Invisalign is ideal for adults and teens who want effective treatment without the visibility of traditional braces. Dr. Sharma has extensive experience with Invisalign treatment planning and case selection.
Beyond Invisalign, we offer additional clear aligner options that may be appropriate depending on your specific case, budget, and treatment goals. Early Orthodontic Evaluation
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children receive their first orthodontic evaluation by age seven. Early treatment, sometimes called Phase 1 or interceptive orthodontics, addresses developing bite issues, jaw growth concerns, and crowding before they become more complex. Not every child needs early treatment, and we will give you an honest assessment of whether your child should begin now or simply be monitored.
Retainers protect the investment you have made in your smile. After active orthodontic treatment, your teeth need consistent retention to stay in their new positions. We provide custom-fitted removable retainers and bonded permanent retainers, and we will recommend the option best suited to your case. We also replace lost or worn retainers for patients who completed treatment elsewhere.
Some bite issues require more than tooth movement alone. We address overbites, underbites, crossbites, open bites, and jaw alignment concerns using a combination of orthodontic techniques and, when appropriate, coordination with oral surgeons or other specialists. Dr. Sharma will evaluate the underlying cause of any bite issue and recommend a treatment plan that addresses the full picture, not just the visible symptoms.
